Eternally-iconic hardcore brand Thunderdome returns with a new event on December 9th 2023. Following their long and eventful history that ultimately paved the way for the hardcore genre to flourish, Thunderdome has been an established and globally-known brand since the early 90s. Represented by the infamous wizard, the legendary story of Thunderdome has seen many twists and turns; from humble beginnings to breaking records as Europe’s largest indoor dance event in 2019 – this brand has experienced it all.
Following successful comeback editions in 2017, 2019 and the 30th anniversary in 2022, the 2023 edition will exceed all expectations once again. To be held in Thunderdome’s home venue (Jaarbeurs in Utrecht), visitors can expect a staggering gathering of gabbers and like-minded souls. With tickets completely sold out during the member sale, Thunderdome 2023 is set to be an unforgettable and highly exclusive edition. Visitors’ expectations for an overwhelming hardcore production are fulfilled, as Thunderdome leaves no stone unturned. Impressive stage designs, overwhelming visuals and show elements, blaring sound systems and a colossal artist line-up will transform the Jaarbeurs into a hardcore utopia for the night.
Thunderdome 2023 is musically-represented by a two CD compilation album. Curated by Thunderdome, the album contains a diverse selection of brand-new hardcore from the finest names in the scene. New music by hardcore heavyweights can be anticipated, covering names like Angerfist, Nosferatu, Miss K8, AniMe, Radium, The Viper, Drokz, Paul Elstak, The Outside Agency and many more. A wide range of BPMs and sub-styles are showcased; slower underground bangers, early rave-influenced tunes, mainstage straight-up hardcore and uptempo and terror are all included. And of course, the official Thunderdome 2023 anthem ‘Xtreme Audio’ by Mad Dog is featured on the album, including both the regular anthem and Downtempo version.
